Math and science K-12 educators: this (free!) library of videos provides classroom examples of educational theories, demonstrations, case studies, and interviews with students, teachers, and experts. Contains over 1,000 videos supporting science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) education reform. The online MMY provides coverage from Volume 9 (1985) to the present. Use the "alternate access" links to search the Tests in Print database with MMY or by itself. A unit within the U.S. Department of Education, the NCES "fulfills a Congressional mandate to collect, collate, analyze, and report complete statistics on the condition of American education; conduct and publish reports; and review and report on education activities internationally." Student Teacher Resources
These resources are designed for use by elementary or secondary students or their teachers, and are often available through the school library. These links are provided so that those who are student teaching and preparing lesson plans can work with the level of resources available to elementary and secondary students. If you are doing normal university research, you should be using one of our more advanced resources.
